An Apostolic Ministry like no-other.

Alex is an Independent Priest & Celebrant. 

In 2014 Alex made a bold decision. After feeling a very strong calling, he set aside all preconceived ideas, and began an epic journey. Leaving behind any thoughts of comfort that traditional ministry may bring (Housing and Salary), Alex set out on a journey similar to the Apostles, 2000 years ago.

Many of his closest friends were genuinely stunned by this move, but Alex new in his heart that this calling came from a much higher power.

Having begun his ministerial journey as an intending Ordinand in the Church of England, Alex became Ordained and Licenced in Free-church Orders. Having served in 3 Free-churches as a Priest, and in another as a Senior Chaplain, Alex Now stands completely independent.

As a direct result, Alex is able to deliver his ministry to everyone without the constraints often placed upon people by more traditional religious denominations. Alex is able to freely draw from different liturgical traditions and free to minister anywhere.

God loves everyone, and people shouldn't be made to feel that church attendance or commitment is required. After all, Jesus didn't say that! The nature of Alex's ministry is open, ecumenical and very eclectic. 

Whilst Alex is a Priest, his ministry extends far beyond the 4 walls of a church building, being a Priest for the many people who are curious about spirituality or would like a priest to conduct a ceremony, but don't feel that many of the traditional denominations are right for them.
